Each session lasts approximately 1 hour.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture stimulates nerves under your skin and in your muscles, which causes your body to release a number of chemicals – including endorphins, which have a natural pain-numbing effect. The longer your course of acupuncture, the more long-lasting your pain relief is likely to be.

An acupuncture session typically lasts between 40 and 60 minutes, and during this time you’ll also receive a consultation. This is your chance to talk about your specific symptoms and your medical history. You’ll receive a full medical assessment before your acupuncture treatment begins, and a course of acupuncture treatment generally consists of ten sessions.

Heat Therapy

After your massage is complete, we will then finish off the treatment with heat therapy. A herbal heat pad will be placed on the treated area to aid in the soothing with the aim to minimize pain. This also dilates the blood vessels surrounding the painful area. Increased blood flow provides additional oxygen and nutrients to help heal the damaged muscle tissue. It also increases the flexibility (and decreasing painful stiffness) of soft tissues surrounding the injured area, including muscles and connective tissue. You can rest assured that you will leave feeling better and relaxed.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping is thought to release tissues deep inside the body, relax tense muscles and ease stiffness. As blood flow increases within vessels and capillaries, Cupping allows people to enter a more relaxed state since it sedates the central nervous system. It can help lower most patients’ stress responses and therefore offers protection against anxiety and depression. Cupping is used to reduce herpes, cellulite, acne and skin inflammation. The fact that it tones and firms skin by improving blood flow and expanding capillaries.

Cupping Therapy

Moxibustion is a form of heat therapy in which dried chinese herbs materials called “moxa” are burned on or very near the surface of the skin. The intention is to warm and invigorate the flow of “Qi” (energy) in the body and dispel certain pathogenic influences.

Jenny is a very skilled practitioner

She has helped both my mother and myself with (different types) chronic pain. She uses a variety of treatments such as moxibustion (which I had never tried prior to visiting her office), acupuncture, massage and herbal treatments. She finds problem areas that I didn’t even know existed until she starts helping them heal. She is very reasonably priced, especially to some of the other acupuncturists I have gone to in the past. HIGHLY recommend her.

Wonderful, Jenny is amazing!

She Makes me feel like I’m at home. Fast and quick service. I have been to two chiropractors and two physical therapists for over 20weeks for my  neck pain and One session with Jenny and I got more relief than any other form of medicine I have tried. Cupping therapy and acupuncture with a deep massage twice a week. It only took one session and I swear I’m already feeling better. Thank you so much!

Jenny Qiu is really full of experiences

The Doctor Jenny Qiu is really full of experiences for the acupuncture treatment. She had been working as a traditional Chinese Medicine doctor for more than 20 years in China! I highly trust her skills, this is the real traditional Chinese Medicine! I don’t think those doctors only trained for a few years can provide the real acupuncture.
